service packs for use with CounterPoint for Windows version 7.5.10 -
7.5.14,
and UNIX/Linux 7.5.11 - 7.5.14.
In order for Focus
version 8.3 to work with CounterPoint 7.5.10-14, one of the following patches must be
applied. To download the patch, click on one of the links below
After downloading, unzip into the <CounterPoint>\SV
subdirectory. This should overwrite program files that already exist
with the same name. After installation, if any file error 39
messages are received on a Focus data file (filename begins with SV), the
file should be exported and restored using the Focus file utilities.
The
following service packs contain updates to FOCUS software to
correct any known issues for the specified version. After
installation, the corrections will be described in a file called FxxSP.LOG
(where xx is the Focus version), located in the top-level directory.

To
install a service pack for Windows: Copy the downloaded file to the
top-level directory of your accounting system. Then, install by
executing the exe file from the top-level directory.
To
install a service pack for UNIX/Linux: Copy the downloaded file to the
top-level directory of your accounting system. Then, install by
unzipping the contents of the file while in the top-level directory.
